Cute Chess hackathon 2021

In June, we held the annual Cute Chess hackathon.

Similarly to last year, the majority of our time was spent on reviewing pull requests that had been accumulated through the year. We had been slacking on this area (again).

Among the merged changes were:

• Support for Knight-Relay chess and other game types
• Enhancing the output of tournaments
• Option to hide comments in move list

Huge thanks to our contributors!

I contributed minor changes to help to improve our release process and building packages. On the final days of the event I started to work on making Cute Chess Qt 6 clean, that is, removing the backwards compatibility code required for Qt 5. This is will be a huge effort and I plan to spread the work trough the year.
